Love Ties

Love Ties
Most things in the world aren't black, aren't white, aren't wrong, aren't right, but most of everything is just different. And now I know that there's nothing wrong with different, and that we can let things be different, we don't have to try and make them black or white, we can just let them be grey.

I've nothing more to offer

In the most raging storms I fear the roaring, deafening silence that pierces through even the thickest walls of fortitude.

And you lay your armor
and the battle has been lost
but the hero’s still a warrior
and love is still worth all it has cost

Words are for the deaf
And for those who cannot speak
Whose tongues are tired of trying
The heart is willing but the flesh is weak

One day, he’d say, one day you’d find
There is beauty in the visciousness
In all your darkness
I found my light

One day, I took, one second look
But all is same
And all has gone
And no one ever remained
There is no time to mourn

“You lost the love you've always prayed for,”
“No, I lost the battle of becoming the person capable of that kind of love.”

All in God’s time.
